Kevin Hart's Rap Alter Ego Chocolate Droppa Signs To Motown, Album Coming

When one thinks of Kevin Hart, the first things that generally come to mind include comedian, actor and professional hand waver. Now the Ride Along actor can add musician to his resume as well. Hart has signed his music alter ego Chocolate Droppa to Motown Records and will release an album this fall.

The new broken by Billboard does not come with much detail including who may be helping him on the project, who specific collaborators or producers may be. There is no timeline for when a single will be released or when the album will drop.

There have been a few memorable moments over the years where Hart dons hit Droppa persona and rapped for the world. He tried to battle Kendrick Lamar and even went on radio in Los Angeles to spit a freestyle.

In an Instagram post, he expresses his excitement about the new project.
