Nick Cannon Talks "Having A Good Time" with Chilli & New Video 'If I Was Your Man' [WATCH]

The brewing connection between Nick Cannon and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas have left fans curious about their relationship status. Now, with the TLC member starring as the leading lady in the upcoming music video for his latest single, "If I Was Your Man," inquiring minds are still wondering - are they together or are they just "having a good time."

As reported by EUR, it was during a recent radio interview with Los Angeles Power 106 that the Ncredible media mogul explained how there is much truth behind the lyrics of his new single "If I Was Your Man," featuring Jeremih. The song can pretty much be translated to describe what's going between he and the 37-year-old R&B singer, Thomas.

Lyrics like, "Nah mama I ain't sh*t," "Look I know I f*cked up," or the line from the second verse where he self proclaims, "Nick been pimping since she [was] playing with Barbie," provide all the answers needed to understand that Cannon sucks at relationships and making them work.

"I'm being as honest as I possibly can," explained the 35-year-old to the Power 106 crew. "I'm not good at this relationship stuff apparently, and I only like doing stuff I'm good at. So, I'm a great friend. I can be an awesome friend. Once we go passed friend, I suck at it."

When asked how sucking at relationships is working out for he and Thomas, he confirmed that the two are "out here having a good time" as "great friend[s]," though their on-set chemistry from shooting the video suggest otherwise.

In an exclusive E Online released photo from the shoot, the two appeared real close and cozy while laying on the bed together wearing matching blue silk pajamas and lingerie.

Thomas also shared a photo captured from the video set on Instagram, flashing a noticeable glow very similar to that of the "U Got It Bad" and "U Remind Me" videos with her then boyfriend Usher Raymond.

Cannon's love for TLC and music from the '90s is what inspired his idea and decision to feature Chilli in the video. Especially since the song sampled the girl groups 1992 hit "What About Your Friends."
