Justin Moore was born and raised in the small town of Poyen, Arkansas. In 2001, after joining his uncle's Southern rock band, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee. Married to Kate in 2007, the two remained in Nashville through the birth of Ella in 2010 and Kennedy in 2011. Now that baby #3 is on the way (and due later this month), the singer has decided to move back home.
He told People Magazine, "People think I am nuts. But I want my girls to run through the cow pasture to my mom and dad's house. I want them to go to school where I went to school. It's important to me to see them growing up and having a normal childhood."
Moore will be home a lot more once the family gets moved. He is cutting his touring schedule in half, making sure that he's going to home for over 200 days this year in order to be there for his 4-year-old's softball games and dance classes.
