sMALLTIME
sMALLTIME (Danny Van, Steve Clayton, Kenny Goorabian and Dusty Slaybaugh) hails from Orange County, California. With decades of experience between the four of them, sMALLTIME successfully blends rock, blues, country and soul for a raw sound that gut checks you.

Frontman Danny Van has been to the bottom and his passionate delivery shares his trip back. As a recovering addict himself with over 20 years clean, Danny toured nationally for eight years working with Saddleback Church's "Celebrate Recovery Ministries." He was also the lead singer for Sunday Shoes. His hope for sMALLTIME is that the message of grace, recovery and redemption that they share are heard clearly.

Steve Clayton (bass, backing vocals) has played in bands in nearly every genre out there, getting his start as a kid.

Kenny Goorabian (lead guitar, backing vocals) was a founding member of the early 80’s rock band Steel Breeze, which was signed with RCA, toured with Hall & Oates and opened for The Who at the Astrodome. Kenny was the writer behind their hit song “You Don’t Want Me Anymore,” which charted in the Top 20 on Billboard and when he's not writing music, he's writing novels and screenplays.

Dusty Slaybaugh (drums) played with a popular Sacramento band called Spider Kelly. He went on to tour nationally with the Cadillac’s.

The band plays in rock clubs, churches and outreaches in Southern California, sharing a message of love and of truth. Rock masters, their music is intricate and technical (no 3-chord shuffle here) and their lyrics are as powerful as they are real. Danny's raspy delivery of them speaks of life lived and draws you in to their story.
