On Sunday, July 6th from 7 to 9 pm, there will be a memorial for Keith Gentry, younger brother of Montgomery Gentry's Troy Gentry, at Common Grounds in Lexington, Kentucky. Lloyd Keith Gentry (Keith) was 44 when he died on June 28, 2014. No cause of death has been released.

Common Grounds management shared, "For those that knew him please come and share our love for him. He was one of a kind, thoughtful and kindhearted spirit. If you hadn't met him, come and hear about a person who truly made Lexington a better place to live. Proceeds will be donated to The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. Bring a story, song or memory and let's all celebrate Keith!"

On the official Montgomery Gentry Facebook, Team MG posted that Troy had asked them to pass on the following message ...

"I'd like to thank you all so much for your outpouring of thoughts and prayers. We appreciate your kindness and respect of our family time as we grieve the loss of my brother Keith."

Team MG also shared that for those wishing to send flowers or donations in memory of Keith, Troy would love for them to make a donation to the Make-A-Wish chapter in middle Tennessee instead.

According to Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, there will not be a funeral service.

Please join the MusicTimes family in sending our heartfelt condolences to Troy and the rest of the Gentry family during this difficult time.
