Kanye West made a pop-up appearance at Chance the Rapper’s Magnificent Coloring Day in Chicago and performed for the crowd. The appearance was surprising due to the fact that the “Famous” rapper had a concert scheduled in Nashville.
A storm of fan-shot videos immediately stormed Instagram following his performance.
Consequence of Sound reports that West performed a short set that included “Gold Digger,” “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” “All Day,” “Black Skinhead,” “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1 and 2,” and “All Falls Down.” The set ended with “Ultralight Beam,” as Lil Chano appeared on stage with West for The Life Of Pablo hit, who also did a short stint in the crowd.
Shortly before the Magnificent Coloring Day Festival began, the rapper reclaimed thousands of tickets for resale, tweeting a photo of almost 2000. He reclaimed the tickets from those selling them for profit. He announced the tour back in June on his Instagram account and presales began the same day (June 21) and were available through his website. The Magnificent Coloring Day tour began on Sept. 15 and is running through North American cities until Oct. 21.
