Robin Thicke recently had a chat with Sway Calloway on his radio show and while discussing his estranged wife Paula Patton, the "Blurred Lines" singer got emotional.
During the interview, Thicke answered questions about both Paula his new album, and Paula his wife.
Sway posed questions about some of the lyrics on "Forever Love" and what exactly Thicke did to land himself in the predicament he's in.
Thicke refused to answer the latter on air. However, he did mention that most of the questions surrounding his marital issues could be answered by listening closely to the album.
The interview seemed to be going well until Sway decided to play a soundbite of Patton spilling the beans on her relationship with Thicke the last time she was on Sway's show.
Apparently hearing the clip struck a nerve with Thicke as he got choked up and requested the cameras be turned off.
After regaining his composure, Thicke posed a question of his own, "Now who doesn't think I should make an album called Paula?"
Thicke has made several public attempts to win his estranged wife back.
He has performed numerous times, including most recently at the BET Awards, and in one stab at salvaging their relationship, he even debuted the track "Get Her Back" from his Paula album at this year's Billboard Music Awards
Perhaps Paula will hear him out soon.
