Rae Sremmurd have announced their second annual SremmFest in the duo's hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi. They will be joined by a preliminary 2016 lineup of Diplo, Young Dolph and Big K.R.I.T.
More names will be announced as the festival comes closer.
SremmFest will take place on Dec. 23 at the Bancorp South Arena. It will be right in the holiday season and a perfect early Christmas gift for your friends or family who would be down to dance with Rae Sremmurd and co.
"We're going 10 times harder than last year. We're doing more giveaways and we've got surprise guests coming through. You don't wanna miss it. #SremmLife," says Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd in a statement.
Tickets go on sale, Tuesday, Oct. 18 at sremmfest.com. The 2016 edition will be smaller than what happened last year when they held the festival over three days. There were other activities over the course of the three days, with only one dedicated to music.
"This is the best thing ever. We're gonna show you why we have the key to the 'Sip," notes Slim Jxmmi in a statement.
The annual festival marks the meteoric rise of Rae Sremmurd who started out homeless making music to their current success with numerous platinum selling hits such as "No Type" and "No Flex Zone."
In 2015, the inaugural SremmFest was held Tupelo, Mississippi from Dec. 18-20. There was a charity basketball game on Friday, sets by Yo Gotti, Rae Sremmurd, K Camp, Dej Loaf, Two-9, Earz and Mike Will Made It on Saturday and then a BBQ on Sunday. Those extra events appear to be taken out for 2016 or will be included over the one day this year.
