Billboard reports that Swift threw a birthday party for Lorde last night as well as posting a homemade card she made for the “Royals” singer to her account.
“Thank you for the music you make, the advice you give, the thoughts you provoke, and the way you’ve made my life more beautiful since the first day we met up in New York and ate burgers on a park bench and got attacked by squirrels,” Swift wrote on the post.

The party reportedly took place at Carbone restaurant in the Soho neighborhood of New York City and several photos from the event were posted to Lorde’s Instagram account.
