'Up In Here' Rapper DMX Shares Instagram Post Supporting Kanye West

DMX has shared an Instagram post showing his support for Kanye West following a hospitalization for exhaustion and sleep deprivation. The “Up In Here” rapper has had his share of controversy during his career and posted a video to offer well wishes.

“I want to give a special shout out to Kanye,” DMX said, as well as noting that it was the first time he had ever posted to Instagram. “Let him know that my prayers are with him, my family’s prayers are with him. A reminder that when God is for you, who can be against you? No one, and nothing. Stand strong, Brother. God is in your corner.”

West was hospitalized on Nov. 21 after his remaining Saint Pablo Tour dates were canceled.

A TMZ report first broke details on the events leading up to his hospitalization and reportedly his personal physician called 911 and said that Yeezy was suffering from “temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration.”

His doctor, Michael Frazam, claimed that West was non-violent, but could become so if the police arrived, and police were told his name was Jim Jones when they arrived.

It was recently reported that the rapper would be remaining in the hospital until next week since he was still in a “bad mental state” and that his time in the hospital is “far from over.”

TMZ further reported last week that, “Our sources say as of Wednesday morning it appeared he would stay at UCLA Medical Center until at least week’s end. We’re told some members of Kanye’s family wanted him home for Thanksgiving and felt it would do him good, but as of yesterday it looked improbable.”
