Its been a long time coming for a G-Unit reunion, and Young Buck says 50 Cent is putting the guys to work.
According to HipHopDX, the supergroup is gearing up to release an album and a mixtape. Though they have had their differences, Buck says they buried the hatchet for the music.
"It's a good look," Buck said on Whoolywood Shuffle. "First and foremost, it ain't no bulls**t where it's about a check. You know what I'm saying? From the very beginning, 50′s always been the big brother. You know, s**t happens and that's what happened. But real s**t always makes yourself stronger...in some kind of way. Sometimes things don't go as planned and sometimes it do, but if it's real, it's always gonna be there and that's what it was...We movin', my n***a. G-Unit, nigga. That's what it's been."
And when it comes down to the music, 50 still expects perfection.
"Man, that n***a 50 got a n***a slavin'. You know how that n***a is. That n***a workin'."
G-Unit decided to reunit this year at Hot 97's Summer Jam 2014 following internal feuds.
Apparently the guys have taken up 50's advice. Back in April, he spoke on the possibility of a reunion saying, "There's a possibility for us to do things, but they gotta get themselves together," he said. "I think it's the work."
That came after 50 took the opportunity to publicly throw shade at the group.
"Some people, they're like milk," 50 Cent said during an interview in March. "They have an expiration date and no matter what you do, they'll spoil after a while."
