Zayn Malik has revealed his new song with PartyNextDoor via his Twitter account. The track is entitled “Still Got Time.” The singer did not include a caption nor any hints about a release date fans can expect.
“Soon and I mean it,” Malik wrote on Twitter when a curious fan asked about the song’s release date.
What Malik did share was a 10-second clip of the song along with the album art. The clip contained no vocals, but did share an electro-pop beat that insinuates the song will be danceable.
The last time we heard from the former One Direction member was on a collaboration with Taylor Swift for the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack, “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.” The song was Swift’s first 2016 release since her hit album 1989. The single was also the first from the movie soundtrack, released Feb. 10 on Republic Records. The movie itself was released on Valentine’s Day.
The two alternated lines on the track, with Swift singing (“Baby, baby, I feel crazy/Up all night, all night and every day/Give me something, oh, but you say nothing/What is happening tonight?”) Then Malik answers with ("I don't wanna live forever/'Cause I know I'll be living in pain.")
The song was a surprise collaboration on the soundtrack and both sing their parts in a tortured falsetto.
The song was written by Swift, Jack Antonoff and Sam Dew, who also produced it.
