Chance the Rapper is currently looking for an intern and is telling those who are interested to “pitch yourself” on Twitter.
The rapper is obviously doing well, after winning three Grammys and donating $1 million to the public school system in his hometown of Chicago according to BET. NME also reports that he just earned $500,000 to stream Coloring Book exclusively on Apple Music. To be Chance the Rapper’s intern would be the dream come true for anyone aspiring to get into the music industry, and it seems he wants to give back even more than he already has.
“I’m looking for an intern, someone with experience in putting together decks and writing proposals,” the rapper posted Twitter.
Chance recognizes the trials of unpaid work and further wrote, “I know “intern” has a negative connotation but the job I’m looking to fill doesn’t really have an official title yet. But it is a “job.”
“I want intern resumes formatted as creative decks, pitches or proposals ctrinternsubmissions@gmail,” he wrote on his social media page telling prospective interns how to apply.
And finally, “Pitch yourself.”
The responses to his proposal were overwhelming, and fans were clamoring at the opportunity to intern with Chance, posting all over social media.
