Nicki Minaj is adding DNCE to her list of collaborators and teased new song “Kissing Strangers” on Instagram this past Monday (April 11). The song is reportedly due to be released this Friday.
Minaj’s Instagram reported a cowboy bar-themed video has been filmed to accompany the song and the rapper joked that she had “roughed up” DNCE frontman Joe Jonas “a lil bit on the set.”
She is also preparing to release her fourth studio album and already has a long list of collaborations under her belt. Thus far, Minaj has been featured on “Swalla” by Jason Derulo, “Make Love” with Gucci Mane and “Light My Body Up” by David Guetta. She also infamously teamed up with Drake and Lil Wayne on Remy Ma diss track “No Frauds.”
Fans can reportedly get a preview of “Kissing Strangers” by calling 818-650-3623.
Minaj has not released a full-length project since 2014’s The Pinkprint, but confirmed that she was working on new music back in January, as well as confirming a split with Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill. Minaj and Mill dated for nearly two years and rumors swirled for weeks until she officially confirmed the split. The reasons behind the break-up were never made clear to fans.
