"Ayo Juan, Did the Nas and Travis Scott vocals come in yet?"
Yesterday (Jun. 5), DJ Khaled released his third single off his 10th studio album, Grateful, which featured Toronto's Finest, Drake. Today (Jun. 6) he is back with another powerful collaboration, Nas, or at least a glimpse of it.
The "I'm The One" producer took to his Instagram a post sharing that he is working on a song and visual with Nas. The post was captioned, "I WILL NEVER STOP!!! MORE VIDEO FOR THEY HEAD TOP FOR MY BIGGEST ALBUM ! #DJKHALED @nas!!! @wethebestmusic @epicrecords @rocnation GRATEFUL PRE ORDER NOW !!! #GRATEFUL #JUNE23 NAS VOCALS BEEN IN!! And VIDEO!!"
This album is already full of very prominent figures in the music industry. In addition to Nas and Drake, Khaled has worked with Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne, Quavo, Beyoncé, Jay Z and Rihanna.
Rihanna and DJ Khaled were working on the visual for their track last night (Jun.5) in Miami's Little Haiti Cultural Complex according to Vibe. Rihanna was caught photographed in two looks for the video. The first look being a oversized pink crop top and a matching scarf on her head. She accompanied that outfit with a multicolored silk like skirt. The second look is more of a oversized beige romper.
Khaled, who's very excited to work with the Caribbean queen, took his excitement once again to Instagram. He profoundly expressed that despite people thinking he wouldn't be able to work with someone of Rih Rih's caliber, that he was able to through hard work. He said, "THEY SAID KHALED CAN'T GET @badgalriri Vocals. Tell THEY I SAID HI ! VOCALS IS IN !GOD IS THE GREATEST!"
Travis Scott, who is also apart of the Nas collaboration, was seen in an Instagram photo with Khaled. However, this will not be the "Goosebumps" rapper's first time working with Khaled. The two worked together on his previous album, Major Key, on the track "Tourist." Safe to say, if the track sounds anything like their previous work, then it will definetely be lovable.
Be on the lookout for Grateful which releases June 23rd.
