Raekwon Signs Publishing Admin Deal With Memory Lane Music Group

Fresh off his performance at this year's Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, Raekwon has some good news to share.

The Wu-Tang Clan rapper has entered into a worldwide publishing administration agreement with Scion Three Music, a division of Memory Lane Music Group, reports The Source.

The announcement of Raekwon's new deal comes in anticipation of his long awaited sixth solo album, F.I.L.A. - Fly International Luxurious Art.

Raekwon's forthcoming studio effort is set to be released this fall through Ice H20/Caroline and will feature several guest appearances.

The Chef's new team seems excited about his project.

"Raekwon is a rap legend," says MLMG President Mark Spier, "He's been a driving force in the genre since the Hip Hop explosion of the 90s, and we couldn't be more excited to partner with him."

Aside from his new album, Raekwon has been performing and is also preparing for a couple tours.

Raekwon recently performed at the 10th anniversary of the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival alongside Jay Electronica, CJ Fly of Pro Era and Cyhi the Prince.

According to Complex, he brought out Bobby Shmurda, Troy Ave and Papoose during his set at the festival.

The Chef didn't stop at showing love to the new school rappers. Later in his set, he also brought out AZ and Lil Fame of M.O.P. to perform "Life's A B***h" and "Ante Up," respectively.

And of course he didn't leave the stage without performing his own classics such as "Ice Cream."

He will be kicking off a European tour at the Dour Festival in Dour, Belgium July 17-July 20th and the Rockefeller in Oslo, Norway on August 1st.

The Dour Festival boasts an impressive lineup featuring Cypress Hill, Flosstradamus, Joey Bada$$, Just Blaze, Mac Miller, Tyler, the Creator and Nas.
