Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were rumored to have secretly tied the knot early this week. This was spurred by Liam being spotted wearing what appeared to be a band on his ring finger. What made the rumor plausible is that he was with Miley’s mom, Trish, at the Cyrus family estate in Kentucky.

As for Liam’s thick silver band that sparked the rumors, sources say that it is more of a promise ring to Miley. The only thing missing for the young couple is the legal piece of paper says the same report. Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are more focused on making their love as strong as possible and not really on planning their wedding at this time.
This isn’t the first time that a ring has caused wedding rumors for Liam and Miley. Fans previously assumed that they got hitched after Miley was seen wearing a ring on her left finger.
Liam, 27, and Miley, 24, have been dating for seven years in total. They first met on the set of their movie “The Last Song” in 2009 and officially debuted as a couple at the 2010 Oscars. They first got engaged in 2012 before surprising fans with their break-up in 2013. In January 2016, the couple confirmed that they are once again engaged but since then has been mum on their wedding plans.
The “Wrecking Ball” singer recently spoke about her time apart from "The Hunger Games” actor. She felt like she needed to change so much but it was hard when the person was not changing like she did. "Suddenly you're like, 'I don't recognize you anymore.' We had to re-fall for each other,” Miley explained to People.
For his part, Liam explained that their split was hard but a good decision, nevertheless. They were both going in different directions and were both very young. He said that they both needed the time out from each other.
