‘Dragon Ball FighterZ’ Trailer Shows Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta Sweep the Opposition

Bandai-Namco has released another trailer for its upcoming fighting game "Dragon Ball FighterZ." Titled "SSGSS Power: ON" it focuses on main characters Goku and Vegeta using the power of the "Super Saiyan Blue" transformation.

The "Dragon Ball FighterZ" trailer was first revealed on Gamescom 2017 held on Cologne, Germany, Silicon Era reports. It has both Goku and Vegeta starting out with their original forms, after which they summon their energy and transform into their Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan forms, also known as Super Saiyan Blue.

The next scenes showcase the Super Saiyans beat up several characters for the soon to be released "Dragon Ball FighterZ," including Android 18, Krillin and a fellow Saiyan Trunks. They could also be seen using some of their special attacks, dealing massive damage to their opponents.

On the other hand, another classic Dragon Ball character will be joining the roster. According to Comic Book, Yamcha will be appearing on "Dragon Ball FighterZ."

His inclusion was initially teased when Toru Furuya, who provides the voice for Yamcha, Tweeted that he was tired after a voice recording session for the character. After some fans asking what the recording was for, he responded that it is for a video game named "Dragon Ball Fighters" for 2018.

While this could be an exciting addition to "Dragon Ball Fighterz," Bandai-Namco has not confirmed the inclusion of Yamcha in the game's expanding roster. Moreover, it is also possible that the Z-fighter could only be a background character, and not a playable fighter.

Developed by Arc System Works, "Dragon Ball FighterZ' will be the newest addition to the longstanding Dragon Ball fighting games. The game will feature three-on-three team-based battles akin to other famous fighting games like "Marvel vs. Capcom 3." It will also have different game types, including the "What If" story mode, which has Android 16 reborn and dominate the Z-Fighters.

"Dragon Ball FighterZ" will be available on February 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
