Many a celebrity and musician have thrown out advice and opinion on the behavior of pop star Justin Bieber recently, whether it's Mark Wahlberg advising him not to smoke weed, or Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney mocking Beliebers. EDM producer Deadmau5 did not offer any friendly advice, but he did rage against the "Believe" vocalist for supposedly ruining the DJ's chances of getting on the BBC television program "Top Gear."
The events began when Deadmau5 (real name: Joel Zimmerman) met Bieber while hanging out at the Cabana Pool Bar in both artist's hometown of Toronto. The former was promoting his annual Veld music festival, but didn't seem to mind meeting the Biebs. He used it as an opportunity to enrage Beliebers afterward via Twitter.
"Wanna see rage? check this out: Hey Biebs fans. I TOUCHED HIM!" he typed. "I DID! it was AWESOME! Nya nya. Wut now? Yeah. I touched his hand. So soft."
Later, in what we can only hope is sarcasm, Deadmau5 went on an obscenity-laden spree in blaming the pop star of, somehow, ruining his chances of getting on the automotive-comedy show. The DJ was on a Twitter campaign to get pulled on the show, but apparently the feedback from raucous Bieber supporters derailed it.
"[It] got f------ buried thanks to that little prick," he said. "Like you little f---. I can't believe it. I was so f------ stoked that whole day and then he just shows up and, I s--- you not, I didn't think about anything else other than 'You just f------ ruined every chance I ever had of getting on f------ Top Gear.' So that's that."
That's that indeed.
