Ashley Monroe is in good shape and returning to the road.
According to Country Weekly, the "Weed Instead of Roses" singer issued a statement announcing her return.
"I'm finally feeling some relief after spending two nights in the hospital. I'm very grateful to everyone for their prayers and understanding during this time," she says in the statement.
She also spread the good news on her website writing, "I GOT TO GO HOME FROM HOSPITAL!! and I'm feeling much better... That was a scary ride. Thank you so much for your sweet words and prayers they really helped cheer me up. I'm resting and on the mend so I can hit the road this weekend. I love you all️."
Monroe's first show back will be July 18 in Cincinnati and continue with July 19 in Ashland, Ky., and July 20 in Brooklyn, Mich.
As previously reported, Monroe cancelled several tour dates due to a severe kidney infection.
The country songstress had a short 6-show tour planned, but things went left on the first stop when Monroe felt ill.
She posted a note on her website to alert fans of the cancelation.
"My sweet fans,
I have to cancel the rest of the shows for this rung because of a severe kidney infection. This is very serious and I'm heading back to Nashville to go to the hospital. Thank you for understanding and please keep me in your prayers. I'm so sorry for the disappointment this will cause, but if I don't take care of this it could risk my life. I promise I will make it up to you all.
- Ashley"
No word yet on how she will make up her missed shows in New York, Baltimore or Newton, N.J.
