'Legends Of Tomorrow': Unorthodox Method Causes Time Anomalies: Rip Separates From Legends

The CW released images of “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 3, one of which showed the Legends on the beach along with Julius Caesar (Simon Merrells). The heroes are fresh from defeating the Legion of Doom who rewrote reality with the Spear of Destiny. Their efforts in doing so, however, came with consequences.

The Legends interacted with their past selves which proved to be costly since it “broke time.” This created time anomalies that the Legends need to fix in the upcoming season of “Legends of Tomorrow.” In last season’s finale, their trip to Los Angeles in 2017 brought them face-to-face with dinosaurs. While the Legends attempt to repair the damage, they will also be facing both old and new threats.

The “Legends of Tomorrow” season premiere will be titled “Aruba-Con.” In the first episode of the previous season, Rory (Dominic Purcell) mentioned that he wanted to take a vacation in Aruba. Needless to say, all the events derailed his vacation plans but in one photo, it appears that Rory finally got to go to Aruba.

According to the synopsis of the new season of “Legends of Tomorrow,” Rip’s (Arthur Darvill) dissatisfaction with the team’s unorthodox methods will lead him to form the Time Bureau. He wants it to serve as “the new sheriffs in town” according to Screen Rant. It means that Rip will no longer be aligned with the Legends and instead will take a different approach in fixing the timestream.

EP Marc Guggenheim claimed that the Time Bureau’s upcoming battle with the Legends can be compared to that of “the Beverly Hills police department and Axel Foley.” He said in TV Line that they put fun in the antagonistic relationship.

Guggenheim also revealed that a new member will join the Legends in “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 3, which will premiere on October 10. She is Zari Adrianna Tomas (Tala Ashe). She is described as a Muslim hacktivist from the future.Ki
