Rihanna recently tweeted out and immediately deleted #FreePalestine. Sources close to TMZ explain that the reason Chris Brown and Drake's ex deleted the tweet was because it wasn't supposed to go out in the first place.
The gossip site reports, "She deleted it because it was never meant to be tweeted. She didn't even realize it was a tweet until she started hearing from her fans."
After realizing the tweet went out, Rihanna allegedly deleted her #FreePalestine post eight minutes later.
And while the tweet was taken down, TMZ was (not surprisingly) able to nab an image. Their source explains to TMZ that Rihanna was reading up about the current Middle East conflict, clicked a link and was then inundated by fans asking why she was pro-Palestine. Check out the image below:

Contrary to the tweet, and the belief some fans now have, Rihanna has stated that she is neither pro-Palestine or pro-Israel. "She is pro-peace," the source said, adding, "She doesn't want innocent people dying." Either way, who knew Rihanna was so into the Middle East conflict?
We're not exactly sure what to take from this, considering the process to actually send out a tweet (typing, hashtagging, pressing tweet, etc.). Perhaps RiRi was joking around?
It appears an explanation is in order ... but our guess is should the "Diamonds" singer put up yet another racy photograph on her Twitter account her fans will calm down rather quickly.
