Wu-Tang Clan just unveiled the perfect gift for Cannabis enthusiasts-rolling papers. The Clan-inspired rolling papers come with the group's signature logo and packaged in their signature gold and black colors.
Christmas may be long gone but Wu-Tang Clan is just starting the year right with their lucrative reach into the world of smoking paraphernalia. Available exclusively online, the rolling papers are made purely of hemp papers that come from 100 percent organic materials.
The rolling papers are packaged in booklets that come in the group's trademark black and gold colors. Each booklet has 32 leaves. The box unit comes with 50 booklets and in a special box packaging that bears a large metallic gold print of the group's logo on the front.
Meanwhile, the 4-pack set has Wu-Tang Clan's iconic logos branded sleekly on each booklet. The prices vary for each unit. The four-pack is currently at $3.99 and the deluxe is at $42.99.
"100% Wu-Tang Approved.... Make a statement- Live the life," reads the product description for the rolling papers, which are only available for purchase at Amazon.
Wu-Tang Clan unveiled their Clan-inspired merchandise on Jan. 2. If the product details on Amazon are any indication, then it seems cannabis enthusiasts or the group's fans may have already shelled out money for the rolling papers. The item is currently unavailable or out of stock, although consumers have yet to leave a review about the product.
Wu-Tang Clan has yet to make any product endorsement on social media. Their latest tweet is about the full episode of "Drink Champs."
Other Twitter users, on the other hand, are happy while some thought that the group should have released the cannabis-product in the years when they dominated the world of rap and hip-hop. A Twitter user named Lex Jurgen said that news about Wu-Tang Clan's rolling papers would have been "super cool" had it came out in the 1990s.
Regardless, the group is set to launch their product this week. A few members of Wu-Tang Clan have booked performances on Jan. 5 at New York City's Winery. Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, better known by his stage name as RZA, will hold a special performance. Jason Hunter aka Inspectah Deck and Wu-Tang Killa Beez will also perform.
The launch party starts at 8:00 p.m. and estimated to end at 10:30 p.m. VIP and standing room only tickets are available for purchase at the Winery's official website.
