Tomorrowland Looking To Expand To Brazil For 2015

Tomorrowland is looking to continue its international expansion.

According to Billboard, Brazilian media outlets are reporting that festival organizers have signed on to host a Sao Paolo installment in May of 2015.

Though the exact location is not yet known, speculation points to the Parque Maeda, which is about an hour west of Sao Paolo.

The news of a Sao Paolo date first appeared on Brazilian entertainment website Omelete.

Last year, the infamous Belgian electronic music festival expanded to the U.S. with Atlanta's TomorrowWorld.

As previously reported, TomorrowWorld is returning to the ATL this year.

This year's TomorrowWorld lineup will include Avicii, Bassnectar, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Diplo, Kaskade, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Skrillex, Steve Aoki, Tiësto, Zedd, A-trak, Borgore, Carnage, Detsik, Dillon Francis, Ferry Corsten, Jamie Jones, Laidback Luke, Maceo Plex, Nervo, Paco Osuna, Showtek, Sub Focus, Tommy Trash, W&W, Zeds Dead, Armin Van Buuren, Afrojack, Porter Robinson, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso.

"TomorrowWorld's 2014 full artist lineup will take audiences on a journey with the impressions of each stage telling a story similar to the evolution of a movie, with a cohesive beginning, middle and end," the festival promoters told the news station.

It is a unique 3-day music festival and 5-day camping experience that all takes place just on the outskirts of the Atlanta in the Chattahoochee Hills.

The festival's site says in 2013, it was the first European electronic music festival of its scale in the U.S. and the first U.S. festival to set a minimum age of 21.

The magic all returns September 26-28, 2014.

Tomorrowland welcomes 180,000 visitors annually from 214 nations making it the largest international festival gathering.

This year marks Tomorrowland's 10th anniversary, and the first year the festival is expanded to two weekends (July 18-20 and 25-27).
