Calvin Harris Has Nothing to Do with 'Cat Summer' but Grumpy Cat and Oskar the Blind Cat Do! [WATCH]

"Cat Summer" is a track that has nothing to do with Calvin Harris (unfortunately), but it still features five prominent celebrity cats and that's enough for us. Grumpy Cat, Oskar the Blind Cat (and his one-eared roommate Klaus), Nala Cat and Hamilton the Hipster Cat all reprise the roles (themselves) they took for the December viral video "How to Be A Cat at Christmas" for the three-minute clip.

The video is admittedly an extended commercial for Friskies Grillers cat food, but there's a charity bit to it so we don't feel so bad for promoting it on Music Times. For every view that the video gets, Friskies and Rescue Bank will donate one meal's worth of cat food (up to a million views). That adds up. The company donated 600,000 cans of food ("Not the dry stuff? Cans?!?" -our cats) following the Christmas video. You've got until Labor Day to watch this sucker as much as possible. All donations will be made in the name of Colonel Meow, another viral feline who passed earlier this year.

The song itself is mostly an active commentary on the video itself, as a Colbie Caillat style singer-songwriter (no artist credit was given) narrates the shenanigans of our stars when they're brought outside to a barbecue. Among the activities seen: Two cats crawl up through the hole of a corn hole set (Grumpy Cat and Nala Cat), one cat worms its way through a pair of croquet wickets (Nala cat again), and Oskar the Blind Cat seems to be the only one who enjoys soaking on the slip 'n' slide.

Is it the most cute video starring cats? No, not by a long shot. But again, it's for a great cause so go ahead and meme away.
