Fergie had the honor to sing the national anthem at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 18, at the Los Angeles Staples Center.
The 42-year-old delivered an intense version of the "Star Spangled Banner," hitting and sustaining some high notes and clearly giving it her all. However, not everyone is a fan.
Many say that the "Fergalicious" singer overdid her performance. At one point, Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green and television host Jimmy Kimmel were spotted laughing during Fergie's breathy performance.
Stephen Curry had to take time off of the court to like a tweet poking fun of how everyone in the venue — from basketball players to celebrity fans — were trying to hide their laughter while Fergie belts out the national anthem on live television watched by an average of 1.401 million people across the United States.
