In light of the recent video that popped up online showing a 19-year-old Kanye West in the early stages of his rap game, it looks like someone decided to drop the below audio of another teenaged rapper: Eminem. The track, "Pooh Butt Daily," features Em at the age of 16 alongside early collaborator Chaos Kid under the name Soul Intent.
And let's just say, it sounds the complete opposite of the Eminem we know today.
The track was reportedly recorded sometime between 1988 and 1991. And while it seems safe to say that the style of the legendary rapper has changed quite a bit, the "dirty" humor remains rather constant to this day.
After Soul Intent disbanded, the soon-to-be superstar began to find his "niche" in the rap world ... striking up controversy after controversy on top of hit after hit.
Eminem was recently nominated for seven MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs). The program is set to air on MTV on Sunday, August 24 at 9 p.m. At the show, the "Monster" singer will reportedly be performing, taking to the stage to perform the track alongside Rihanna, with whom he's worked with in the past on "Love the Way You Lie."
The always-debated wordsmith has currently been touring. He performed a 2-day stint at London's Wembley Stadium, where he shocked the crowd by bringing out Dr. Dre. The two performed "Next Episode," "Still D.R.E.," and of course, "Forgot About Dre."
