Former LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy has teamed up with director Noah Baumbach once again to produce the soundtrack for his new big budget film, While We're Young.
As Gigwise notes, the two previously worked together in 2010 on the film Greenberg, whose soundtrack included original songs and tracks from artists including LCD Soundsystem and Duran Duran.
Beastie Boys member Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz is also involved in the film and will be starring alongside actors Ben Stiller, Amanda Seyfried, and Naomi Watts.
Murphy also has a previous relationship with Horovitz. As Gigwise notes, Murphy used to be a roadie for the Beastie Boys, and in an interview with Vulture, Horovitz said that Murphy once broke his fridge.
"He stayed at my apartment a long time ago and broke the refrigerator and didn't get it fixed. I had to fix it," he told them.
According to IMDB, the film is rumored to have a $10 million budget. They describe the film as "an uptight documentary film-maker and his wife find their lives loosened up a bit after befriending a free-spirited younger couple."
While We Were Young is expected to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
