Just in time for the first day of the annual Gathering of the Juggalos, Detroit rap duo Insane Clown Posse find themselves in a bit of characteristically bizarre legal trouble. According to the Detroit Free Press, fellow Michigan rapper Kid Rock has received a subpoena to hand over a piece of evidence in relation to a sexual harassment suit filed against the Insane Clown Posse by their former publicist Andrea "Andy" Pellegrini. The piece of evidence in question is a glass dildo.
The dildo can be traced back to former Insane Clown Posse and Psychopathic Records employee "Dirty Dan" Diamond, who attempted to give it as a gift to Pellegrini. After she refused it, Diamond then allegedly gave the glass sex toy to Rock instead. As this attempt at gift giving was just one instance in a long history of sexual harassment committed against Pellegrini, the sex toy has been requested as evidence in her case against the Insane Clown Posse and Psychopathic Records, which was filed back in September 2013. Kid Rock has been given two weeks to hand over the evidence.
In a 17-page complaint written by Pellegrini, she claims Diamond gave her the sex toy after learning that she was single. During Diamond's testimony, he admitted to making "sexually explicit remarks to Pellegrini."
Pellegrini's lawsuit alleges that she was subject to "wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, and infliction of emotional distress during her 3-year employment with ICP's Psychopathic Records," and well as being "asked to perform legal work she considered unethical."
