Cardi B Talks Beef With Nicki Minaj: ‘I Just Feel It’s Really Internet Made-Up’

There is no actual feud between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, or at least that is what the "Bodak Yellow" rapper is saying.

Cardi B Vs Nicki Minaj

Ahead of the anticipated release of Invasion of Privacy, the 25-year-old sat down to talk about her music with Beats 1 Radio's Ebro Darden. The conversation steered toward her alleged drama with Minaj which, she said, was something that the internet made up.

"I really thought like, fans and people, they really want to see that happen because it's really entertaining to see people beefing," Cardi B explained. "But I don't really have time for that. If you ain't f****** my man, or if you not taking my money from me, or if you not stop my money, then I don't really give a f*** about you."

The two top female rappers in the industry right now previously collaborated on "MotorSport," a song from Migos's most recent album Culture II. However, in the futuristic music video of the track, Cardi B and Minaj do not appear in the same scenes together.

That, perhaps, fueled the speculations that there is an existing issue between the two artists, but Cardi B explained that, at the time, their schedules were simply not in sync. She told Darden that the "Anaconda" rapper was not available on the day she shot her bit for the music video.

Moreover, Cardi B insisted that she has personally spoken to Minaj and told her that she does not want any issues. The rapper added that she would prefer if two people could talk things out in private instead of airing their dirty laundry in public.

Cardi B Vs Azealia Banks

But there seems to be a real drama between the "Bartier Cardi" rapper and Azealia Banks. On Instagram, 26-year-old Banks launched an attack last Wednesday, April 4, calling Cardi B a "Typical Bronx rat" and accusing her of having a ghostwriter.

The now-deleted post was a response to Cardi B who liked a fan's tweet that basically said that Banks is not the "It Girl" of hip-hop, reported Hollywood Life.

Cardi B has not commented about the diss, but this is not the first time that Banks fired back against the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2018 Best New Artist. In 2017, Banks also took to Instagram to reveal that the track "Bodak Yellow," Cardi B's greatest hit so far, was not written by her. She also called the Invasion of Privacy rapper a "poor man's Nicki Minaj."

Pregnancy Update

Meanwhile, Cardi B still refuses to confirm or deny whether she really is pregnant with her first child with Migos rapper Offset. Rumors surfaced earlier this year, but neither rappers have addressed the reports.

There seems to be a plot to keep the press from confirming for themselves whether the rumors are true. When the 25-year-old rapper stepped out in New York City this week, she was shielded by her bodyguards and crew, making it impossible for the paparazzi to snap a clear photo of belly.

According to TMZ, the rapper is about seven months pregnant by now.

Fans will likely discover whether the rumors are true or not when Cardi B steps out on Saturday Night Live this weekend. She will be performing live in the episode hosted by Black Panther's Chadwick Boseman.
