Electronic dance music, like all genres, features a huge number of subgenres under its overarching title. One of those subgroups, electronic bass music, will be getting its own touring mini-festival to woo its fan base and attract new listeners from EDM crowds. The "Safe in Sound" Festival will feature performances from Adventure Club, Flux Pavilion, Zeds Dead, Excision and others.
You can probably tell from the title that electronic bass music put emphasis on the lower ranges of sound. Therefore it's important that producers have access to sound systems that won't get blown out by obnoxious levels of sub bass. Hence the enlisting of PK Sound as one of the primary sponsors for the tour. The festival will feature an 150,000 watt rig, which the company claims is the most "powerful touring sound system" ever used for electronic music.
Destroid, Caked Up, Doctor P, Downlink, Terravita and ƱZ will also be performing. Check below to see if the "Safe in Sound" festival will be coming anywhere near you.
