Drake scores more top 10 singles in the United States than Paul McCartney. The singer recently scooped his 24th top 10 track.
His latest song that made it to the top of the charts is "Walk It Talk It" featuring Migos. This is not the first record that Drake broke. His single, "God's Plan," became the best single of 2018.
"Walk It Talk It" is featured in Migos's album Culture II. "God's Plan," on the other hand, is included in Drake's Scary Hours album.
Big Freedia Works With Drake
Drake also made headlines this week for including Big Freedia in his bounce track "Nice For What." The bounce artist dished on what it was like to receive a call about working with Drake.
"I was super excited about my voice being at the beginning of the song. They sent the track for me to approve it and was like, 'S***, I don't care what I say on it, as long as I'm on it," said Big Freedia.
The music video for "Nice For What" has already been released, and it features appearances by Tiffany Haddish, Tracee Ellis Ross, Issa Rae, Zoe Zaldana, and more. However, their voices are not heard in the video.
"That's when I say the proper recognition and the proper credit. People want to use bounce music as part of their music but when it comes to the proper recognition of me being in the video, that's something that we're steady working towards to make it happen," said Big Freedia.
Drake Responds To Kanye West's Shade
In related news, Drake also reacted to Kanye West's recent diss. During his interview in February, the 31-year-old singer said that he does not know what West is referring to half the time. In November, Kim Kardashian's husband slammed Drake over his collaboration with DJ Khaled.
"I think everybody has their own little things going on. I'm not really sure what he's referring to half the time, because in the same breath, I went from being... like working on a project with him, to him sorta publicly s******* on me and DJ Khaled for being on the radio too much," said Drake.
Drake added that whatever West's point is for dissing him, he accepts it. However, it does not mean that he respects him. He said that he and DJ Khaled are good people, so he does not understand why he is targeting them.
