Letitia Wright is not only good at acting. The Black Panther star is also an impressive rapper, and she showed off her rapping skills on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
During her appearance on the late-night talk show, Wright participated in the "Wheel of Freestyle" segment. Host Jimmy Fallon gave the actress three words, namely Red Lobster, disco, and vibranium to incorporate into her original rap song.
At first, Wright admitted to feeling a bit nervous, but she managed to do a wonderful job at wowing the live audiences.
"Check it, me and Black Thought spin your head like a disco ball / yo, natural disaster / call your pops and let him pray for you / let's go crap some food at Red Lobster / Roots, tell me I can win an Oscar," sang Wright.
After saying the words "Red Lobster," Wright noticed that the word had not been ticked off from her list. She hilariously rapped about it, and Fallon could not contain his laughter. Over a minute into her rap, Wright already managed to include the three randomly-generated words into her song.
Letitia Wright Talks About 'Avengers: Infinity War'
Wright played the role of Shuri in Black Panther. The character will be seen next in Avengers: Infinity War. Ahead of the film's release, Wright teased what fans can expect between her character and Iron Man whose alter ego is the billionaire genius playboy philanthropist Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.).
"Iron Man is like the OG of the Marvel Universe. He's the godfather. Shuri respects him, but I feel like she has ideas that she can pitch to him and make his tech a little bit better," said Wright.
During her interview on Good Morning America, the 24-year-old Guyanese-born British actress was asked to share more details about Avengers: Infinity War. However, she said that she cannot do so.
"I wish I could tell you what's happening. It's so top secret. It's the most secretive project I've ever been on to the point where the stuff I do know, I don't want to tell it," explained Wright.
