Ariana Grande warms the hearts of her fans with her new song "No Tears Left to Cry." The track was released on Friday, April 20.
The song also sent an uplifting message to Grande's fans, most especially the victims and survivors of the Manchester bombing. Max Martin produced the track "No Tears Left to Cry." The summer pop track talked about fear and hatred, and how to overcome them.
The official music video for "No Tears Left to Cry" was released on the same day. The almost four-minute clip opens with Grande inside an abandoned building with a pensive look on her face. The track, which starts slow, ups its rhythm making it sound almost like a dance record.
Ariana Grande Teases New Record
"No Tears Left to Cry" is the first song off Grande's upcoming fourth studio album. The official title for the compilation is yet to be announced, but rumors suggest that the album will be available sometime this year.
Prior to the song and music video's release, Grande teased fans with interesting details about her newest record via her social media account. On Tuesday, she shared the cover art for her song. She also announced the title of the track.
Manchester Bombing Aftermath
Grande has been absent from social media for the past four months. The singer did not explain exactly why she decided to stay away from the platform, but it may have something to do with her busy schedule.
Last year, Grande went through a difficult time after 22 of her fans died in the Manchester bombing. The incident had a huge effect on the singer. Weeks after the incident, Grande hosted a benefit concert called One Love Manchester, and all proceeds went to the victims and survivors of the attack.
Earlier this year, Grande's manager, Scooter Braun, said that his talent cried for days after the bombing.
"She felt everything - every face they announced, every name, she wore on her sleeve. Every bit of emotion because that's who she is," said Braun.
During an interview, Grande said that after the harrowing incident, she wanted to spend more time with her family. Months later, she returned to the studio to work on her upcoming album.
Pharrell Williams also serves as a producer of the album, and he described it as "pretty next-level." The complete tracklist for Grande's music project has yet to be released.
