Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, and more participate at BBC Radio 1's Biggest Weekend in Swansea. The gathering of musical talents took place on Sunday, May 27.
Swift performed several songs live in front of a massive crowd. Prior to her performance, she admitted to feeling a bit nervous. The singer is currently on her Reputation tour, but she flew to the United Kingdom from Denver to sing for her fans.
The songs she sang were "...Ready For It?" "Gorgeous," "Look What You Made Me Do," "Delicate," "Blank Space," and "Shake It Off."
Shawn Mendes Debuts His New Album
Mendes, on the other hand, performed the songs from his new album Shawn Mendes: The Album. During an interview on Sunday, Mendes said that he is grateful to debut his new tracks at the Biggest Weekend.
Prior to his performance, the Canadian singer also revealed that he practices his singing chops with his vocal coach for an hour every day.
Other performers on BBC Radio 1's Biggest Weekend showcase were Florence and the Machine and Thirty Seconds to Mars.
Mendes also got the chance to perform with Thirty Second to Mars and frontman Jared Leto. The "Mercy" singer thought that actor was very talented and extremely good looking.
Hailey Baldwin, Shawn Mendes Not Dating
In related news, Mendes also made headlines after rumors swirled that he and Hailey Baldwin were dating. However, Baldwin confirmed that they are just friends. The two were recently spotted together at the Met Gala.
"We hang out and he's super lovely and a very, very nice young gentleman. But I am single. The dating pool is small. It's rare to find somebody that has the same ideas and morals as me. I have found people like that before, though, which is refreshing," said Baldwin.
Rumors also linked Baldwin to Justin Bieber. The supermodel said that their romance started when she was just 18 or 19 years old. However, they are just friends at the moment.
Shawn Mendes Is Still Single
During a separate interview, the 19-year-old "In My Blood" singer also confirmed that he is single. Mendes also said that he had a blast attending this year's Met Ball especially since he was with Baldwin. The "Stitches" singer called the supermodel outgoing and described his overall experience at the annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City as overwhelming.
