Celebrity friends and frequent collaborators MØ and Diplo have once again teamed up to deliver the anthem of summer 2018.
On Thursday, July 12, the duo dropped "Sun In Our Eyes," their boppy new track that reminisces a perfect but ended summer fling.

"But through your hands you make me tremble, make me crush/ Forget my name," the Danish singer-songwriter croons. "And just ride that wave until we higher than life/ With the sun in our eyes, should just ride on a cloud/ Until we fall from the sky/ No more tears for the night."
The pop track is the lead single from Forever Neverland, MØ's second studio album due to come out in October. It is her follow-up to 2014's No Mythologies to Follow.
"We both loved 'Sun In Our Eyes' from the beginning and what makes it special to me is that it's a combination of the two ingredients I'm always craving in music: uplifting and melancholy vibes," she said about the new single.
The electropop star first teased the arrival of "Sun In Our Eyes" earlier this week with a short video she posted on Twitter. At the time, she gave fans a short sneak peak of the hot new track.
His collaborator further hyped the arrival of the track and predicted that it will blow up to become one of the anthems of this year's summer. He also called MØ his "sis."

MØ, Diplo Collaborations
This is not the first time that the 29-year-old singer teamed up with Diplo to formulate the perfect chart-topping hit. The first time they collaborated was back in 2014 with "XXX 88." More recently, they released the track "Get It Right," a slow jam that entered and peaked in the Top 10 of the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay.
Their biggest hit together, however, was "Cold Water," a 2016 track from Diplo's EDM group Major Lazer. The track that also featured Justin Bieber peaked at the second spot of the Billboard Hot 100. Another collaboration with Major Lazer titled "Lean On" also made it into the singles chart and launched her into stardom in 2015.
MØ Announces Sophomore Album
Along with the track, MØ also announced the release date of Forever Neverland. After a long wait, the singer-songwriter will finally drop her anticipated sophomore studio album on Oct. 19.
In a previous interview with Billboard, she revealed that she has been working on the album for almost four years.
