Cardi B explains the meaning behind her daughter Kulture Kiari's unique name. The "Bodak Yellow" singer and Offset welcomed their firstborn on Tuesday.
According to People, Kulture Kiari is an obvious nod to Offset, who has three older children. Kiari Kendrell Cephus happens to be the Migos member's real name. Kulture is taken from Migos' two highly successful albums, Culture and Culture II.
On her Instagram account, Cardi B also stood by her decision to name her daughter Kulture Kiari. She shared a series of maternity photos, which were accompanied by Migos' song "Higher We Go." The lyrics of the song includes the word culture.
Offset Gave Their Daughter's Name
Months before giving birth, Cardi B appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she told host Ellen DeGeneres that Offset picked their daughter's name. She said that she likes Offset's idea so she agreed to call their baby Kulture Kiari.
In related news, Cardi B and Offset secretly tied the knot in September. In June, the "I Like It" singer confirmed the news and said that they didn't tell anyone about their decision to tie the knot. She also linked her secret wedding to her album Invasion of Privacy.

"This is why I name my album Invasion of Privacy 'cause people will do the most to be [nosy] about your life. Well, f*** it. There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself! Getting married was one of those moments," tweeted Cardi B.
In her lengthy post, the singer said that she and Offset tied the knot one morning of September when they both realized that they did not want to lose each other. Cardi B also acknowledged the fact that she and her husband had to grow up to make their relationship work.
