Bruce Springsteen Covered By Hank Williams' Granddaughter On Tribute Album, Holly Williams Premieres ‘No Surrender’ [LISTEN]

Dead Man's Town is a new album dropping on September 16 that pays tribute to Bruce Springsteen's 1984 record Born in the U.S.A. It's been reported by USA Today that Hank Williams' granddaughter, Holly Williams, is covering the album's tune "No Surrender."

Fully labeled Dead Man's Town: A Tribute to Born in the U.S.A., the album is being released via Lightning Rod Records and also features the likes of Nicole Atkins, Jason Isbell & Amanda Shires, and North Mississippi Allstars.

On covering the album, Williams has said, "It's always intimidating to do a cover of anyone else's song, especially when it's from one of the greatest songwriters of our generation. All I can say is I was incredibly honored to be asked to be a part oft his tribute to The Boss, and I really hope he is pleased with the outcome."

Williams has released three albums over the course of her music career, including 2013's The Highway.
