Adam Levine will produce a YouTube series called Sugar, and it will feature his The Voice co-judges Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson. The show will premiere on Aug. 15.
Sugar is inspired by Maroon 5's music video for "Sugar," which was released in 2014. In the clip, the members of the band crashed the weddings of their fans across Los Angeles.
Levine's YouTube series will run for a total of eight episodes. Each installment will feature an artist that will crash their fans' weddings. Some of the treats that the fans will receive include pop-up performances by their idols and other related events.
Adam Levine Releases Statement About 'Sugar'
The other artists that have been tapped to appear on Sugar are Snoop Dogg, Bad Bunny, Fergie, and Charlie Puth. As of late, it is still unclear whether or not Levine will also surprise his fans on his YouTube series. The Maroon 5 frontman released a statement regarding his upcoming show.
"I'm really excited to show this interesting show/experiment filled with many different experiences and emotions; based on the concept behind our video for 'Sugar.' I'm extremely grateful and equally excited for all who participated on both sides of the camera," said Levine.
Adam Levine Talks About Daughter's Name
In June, Levine also made headlines after he released the music video for "Girls Like You." The clip featured his wife, Behati Prinsloo, and daughter, Dusty Rose. Other than his wife and daughter, "Girls Like You" also featured a slew of A-listers such as Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Tiffany Haddish, Millie Bobby Brown, Gal Gadot, Mary J. Blige, Ashley Graham, Ellen DeGeneres, and more.
Following Dusty Rose's birth, Levine appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, to give DeGeneres credit for giving his daughter's name.
"So I'm going through it and I think I have a great name, and I texted Ellen. And I was like, 'What do you think?' and she's like, 'I hate it, I think it's a terrible name.' She gave me like five names to think about, like, 'This, this, this, this,' - and Dusty was in there. So you basically named my kid," said Levine.
Earlier this year, Levine and Prinsloo welcomed their second child, a girl whom they named Gio Grace. Following her birth, the supermodel mom shared an adorable photo of Gio Grace's toes. She revealed that her daughter's feet look exactly like Levine's.
