Lady Gaga is ready for the big screen as she appears in the new trailer for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. She is dressed up as a Bertha, '50s-era diner waitress, who offers money to Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character.
The film, co-directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, bring Miller's stunning graphic novels to life. A Dame to Kill For follows up the 2005 Sin City film and stars Eva Green, Jessica Alba, Josh Brolin, Rosario Dawson, Mickey Rourke, and Jamie Chung, among others.
Earlier today, Gaga Instagrammed a shot of herself from the trailer with the caption, "It's true! I'll be in Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For with my favorite scene partner Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I love Rodriguez, he really killed this one!"
In an interview with radio sow Jam'n 94.5 (via NME), Gordon-Levitt praised Gaga's acting skills for her cameo in Sin City 2.
"She came in and I was like, 'OK they're having a huge pop star do a scene in the movie, I understand," he said. "But then she came in and, like, nailed it. She had her character down, and she was like a total pro, and did a great job. I was really impressed."
This isn't the first time Gaga has tried her hand at film. She made her big screen debut in the 2013 action film Machete Kills as La Camaleón.
Sin City: A Dame To Kill For will hit theaters on August 22.
