Demi Lovato's 911 Call Released While Singer Recovers At Hospital

Demi Lovato is still recovering at the hospital following an alleged heroin overdose and while there, her assistant's 911 call has just been released to the public.

In the phone call, Lovato's assistant also asked the dispatcher to tell the 911 respondents to shut down their sirens so that the neighbors will not be alerted. However, the dispatcher said that since it is an emergency, it is a protocol to turn on the sirens of the ambulance.

Demi Lovato Still Recovering

Lovato was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday morning following an incident that took place in her Hollywood Hills home. The singer has been sober for six years, and she recently celebrated the anniversary of her sobriety.

Weeks prior to her alleged overdose, she released a song called "Sober" and apologized to her fans for falling off the bandwagon. At the time, Lovato's supporters already had a feeling that she might have relapsed.

On Tuesday evening, the singer's publicist released a statement to confirm that Lovato is now awake and with her family during this difficult time. The publicist also thanked Lovato's fans and friends for their love, support, and understanding.

Did She Overdose?

Despite reports that Lovato overdosed on heroin, people close to the singer said that it was not the case.

"She is doing okay but is still being monitored. An overdose is something serious and can cause organ failure. It's important for her to make sure her body is recovering," said another insider.

Demi Lovato Starts Partying Again

In related news, other sources claimed that Lovato cut ties with Mike Bayer, her sober companion, this year. She also stopped seeing the members of her management team and opted to live her life on her own terms. Lovato started going out a few nights in a week, but she still managed to perform on her Tell Me You Love Me tour.

Just two days before she was rushed to the hospital, Lovato had even performed at the California Mid-State Fair. The singer is also trying to be more social, which is why she has been partying with some of her friends in private.

A source said that some of the singer's friends had thought that even though she had been partying with friends, she was still doing the necessary steps to ensure her sobriety. Little did they know that she has relapsed and was getting out of control.

However, Lovato's fans already saw signs that she might have started drinking again. During two of her shows, the singer had stumbled through the lyrics of her songs, but she recovered from them quickly.
