Cardi B is not ready to leave her daughter Kulture Kiari yet. The rapper is no longer joining Bruno Mars's 24K Magic North American Tour.

On Friday, July 27, the new mom issued a statement to announce that she had pulled out as a supporting act to the anticipated series of concerts. Cardi B was featured in the chart-topping remix of Mars' "Finesse."

"I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that six weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically," she said in a post. "I also thought that I'd be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing. Not only am I just not ready physically, I'm not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained it's not healthy for her to be on the road."

The 25-year-old apologized to fans who have been expecting to see her on tour once again especially after she had canceled a couple of appearances a few months back. She said that while the decision she made was difficult, she did it with her child's well-being in mind.

The "I Like It" rapper also thanked Mars who she said has been very "supportive and understanding" about her decision to pull out of the tour.

The 24K Magic North America Tour, in support of Mars's Grammy-winning album of the same name, is set to kick off on Sept. 7 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. The anticipated tour is also scheduled to make stops in venues in Minnesota, Michigan, Massachusettes, Ontario, and a lot more in the next couple of months.

In February, Mars added another 23 shows in North America.
