Everyone is practicing social distancing and are staying home due to the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, several pop artists are spreading their music through live streaming in social media. Though locked in, they stepped up to provide comfort and relief amidst the panic over getting infected with the virus.
"Together, At Home" Series
"Together, At Home" is a collaborative virtual music concert campaign by Global Citizen, a non-profit organization, and the World Health Organization (WHO). It taps several musical artists "to encourage people to stay home, and to help reduce the feelings of isolation and anxiety by bringing people together through music."
It was launched last Monday by Chris Martin of Coldplay. He sang bits of his band's hit songs. The following day, it was John Legend who played the piano with his wife, Chrissy Teigen, and granted song requests. Others who have played were Charlie Puth on Wednesday, and Niall Horan on Thursday.
