Mitch Winehouse, the father of the late Amy Winehouse, is said to be recording an album, and all of the proceeds will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, the BBC reports.
But Beautiful, as it's titled, will be released on September 29 via the "Rehab" singer's label, Lioness Records.
"This is still the album that Amy helped me make," Winehouse said in discussing piece. "There were so many songs that we could have done and here they are."
The September release will be Winehouse's second record following his 2011 debut Rush of Love.
The Amy Winehouse Foundation was set up by her father following the singer's unfortunate death back in July of 2011. The foundation's mission is to support charities throughout the world and provide aid to those suffering from "ill health, disability, financial disadvantage or addiction," as their site states.
"It's something I can do that connects with Amy's memory and raises money for what we believe in," her father stated.
On singing, he admits to feeling his daughter's presence on stage with him during his performances. "She wouldn't let a little thing like not being here stop her from jumping on stage."
Winehouse's daughter passed away three years ago at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning. She left behind an amazing resume of work that so many still revere today. This past July 23 was the anniversary of her death.
