Dua Lipa will release her new single "Break My Heart" on March 25. She announced this on her Instagram account yesterday. The music video will follow the next day while the new album "Future Nostalgia" will have its world premiere on Friday, March 27.
Dua Lipa, 24-year-old British vocalist and songwriter, live streamed from her home in London. The IG live video runs for a little over 45 minutes. Admitting this is only the second time to make such, she began sharing her thoughts regarding the current pandemic situation. The singer-songwriter strongly encouraged her viewers to stay inside their homes. She emphasized to value the importance of being with people they love.
"Break My Heart" Single and "Future Nostalgia" Album
Lipa got teary-eyed when she opened up about her second studio album. She expressed her predicament of releasing it despite the worldwide crisis. For several times, the singer paused to take hold of her sentiments. Sharing her conflicting thoughts, whether it is the right time to do so, she positively wanted to bring joy with the "fun, dancey" songs in the album. She said, "one needs joy, music" and to see the light in the situation. She hopes that it can make a change.
"Future Nostalgia" was due to debut on April 3, but it was moved earlier to March 27. The album leaked online this weekend. Dua Lipa shared that it took her two years to finish it. It is one of the most highly anticipated pop albums in 2020.
Dua Lipa was excited when she talked about the single "Break My Hear.t The dance beat song, her forte, is close to her heart. She co-wrote it with other writers in LA.

She regretted that "it had not been possible to reschedule" her shows in Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Oslo. She informed her fans who had tickets to these venues that "tickets will be refunded at point of purchase." Her team is still "trying for Venice and Munich" shows to be rescheduled.
