LA Clippers Acquires The Forum for $400 million, Will Still Use it as Music Venue

LA Clippers team owner Steve Ballmer purchased The Forum in Inglewood, CA for $400 million in cash. The agreement was closed with Madison Square Garden Company on Tuesday, as announced through a newly formed firm, CAPsS LLC.

Based on the agreement, The Forum, former home of LA Lakers will remain to be a major venue for live music events. Current employees of the arena will be extended with job offers.

The Forum, the premier music venue, has a capacity of 18,000. The upcoming concerts of Billie Eilish scheduled in April had been postponed. The line up of other music events includes performances from Pearl Jam, Eagles, Monsta X, Harry Styles, Bon Jovi, Niall Horan among others.
