Comedian Kevin Hart and his wife, model Eniko Parrish, are expecting their second child together. This as announced on Instagram, Tuesday, March 24.
Parrish posted a picture of her "glowing and growing" baby bump captioned, "In the midst of all this we're counting our blessings and couldn't be more grateful". Hart then wrote hashtags #Harts #FamilyOfSix #Blessed and #LiveLoveLaugh on the same photo uploaded in his IG profile. As of this writing, Eniko's post has more than 500,000 likes, while Kevin's has more than 1.3M likes.
Kevin Hart is now going to be a father of four. He has two children from his first marriage with actress Torrei Hart: daughter Heaven who is 15 and son Hendrix, currently 12. Kevin and Torrei were married from 2003 to 2011, citing their "irreconcilable differences" as the cause of divorce.
The "Jumanji" and "Central Intelligence" star had his first son with Eniko, two-year-old Kenzo Kash, a year after they tied the knot in 2016.
Hart has expressed interest in having another kid in an interview with USA Today last year. "We're going to do one more and then we're going to throw in the towel after that", the 40-year-old comic said.
He said that "one more is enough", saying that there is a "loud one already between the kids and the dogs."
"I think adding more will really complete the Hart family circle and we'll be done there. That's it".
The news is a welcome coincidence as K-Hart is currently producing the 2021 drama film "Fatherhood", in which he will also star. The upcoming movie is the adaptation of Matthew Logelin's touching memoir, "Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love".
Hart began by performing and winning amateur comedy contests, leading to his 2001 breakthrough in the TV series "Undeclared". He would soon land other roles in films and on TV. His fame as a comedian continued to skyrocket upon the release of his stand-up albums, starting with "I'm a Grown Little Man" in 2008.
In 2015, he was included as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World in Time Magazine's Time 100 list.
He also released his debut studio album in 2016, "Kevin Hart: What Now? (The Mixtape Presents Chocolate Droppa)". Chocolate Droppa is Hart's musical alter ego. The seventeen-track album features a variety of guest vocals.
On September 1, 2019, Hart figured in a car accident when the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda that he was riding careened off Mulholland Highway before crashing into a ditch in Calabasas, CA. While both the driver and the comedian sustained major back injuries, Hart was discharged 10 days later and continued recovery in a rehab facility.
Kevin Hart is among the comics who have provided content to Netflix. Hart's comedy specials, which include "Seriously Funny", "Let Me Explain", "Laugh at my Pain", "Irresponsible", as well as his classic "I'm a Grown Little Man" are currently available on the streaming service. Last December, he also partnered with Netflix for a six-part documentary, "Don't F--k This Up", which follows his day-to-day life.
