Little Mix is set to come out with a new single "Break Up Song" on March 27, 6 pm ET. The lyric video premiere will be broadcast over YouTube. "Break Up Song" is the follow-up song after their successful 2018 album "LM5." As the title suggests, it will speak about a relationship turning sour and the heartbreak it brings. The British four-member girl band composed of Jade Thirwall, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Perrie Edwards, posted teasers on the group's Twitter and Instagram accounts. As part of their promotion, they shared a photo that shows them dressed in stunning outfits. Transition Their sixth album is expected to be released in summer. This time, it will be under a new record company, RCA. Little Mix was formerly under contract with SyCo, Simon Cowell's record label. Jade admitted that the split is one of the most difficult times of their career. However, she disclosed that it was a necessary shift. The girls found support from each other in coping with the major change. Jade further revealed the group's excitement about working with RCA. The girls believe that their creativity will be expressed more freely this time around. The group felt they are back on the right track after the transition. This was further attested by Leigh-Anne, when she shared that the new album is one of their favorites so far. Adding to their other plans, the girl-band is set to launch a Little Mix The Search, a new TV series. The show will feature finding fresh talents to be formed into bands. They will act as mentors to the would-be aspirants. However, due to the current situation brought by the coronavirus crisis, the show has no definite date yet. Split Rumors Rumors had gone around that the popular foursome will soon split up. Jade dispelled the talks explaining that none of them have plans of going solo. She was quoted as saying in an interview with Cosmopolitan, "It's all or nothing with us. We are sisters so if one of us left, that would be it!" Previous to her disclosure, she was interviewed by MailOnline last December. Jade said that all of them are very close friends. She found it hard to consider that feuds might happen in the future. Little Mix's Background Perrie, Jade, Jesy, and Leigh-Anne joined forces to form Little Mix. The group competed in the eighth series of the X-Factor, Britain edition. They were crowned winners on December 11, 2011. The girl-band became very popular in the U.K. and soon, they conquered the world's music industry. DNA, their first album, held the record of the highest debut of a British girl-band in the U.S. Billboard chart. It peaked at number four and surpassed the rank of Spice Girl's "Spice" album. Little Mix is considered the current world's biggest girl-band. They released five studio albums, 21 singles, and 25 music videos. The group had sold more than 50 million albums worldwide. Several of their hits include "Wings," "Shout Out to My Ex," "Secret Love Song (ft, Jason Derulo)," and "Black Magic."
