Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny surprised his fans as he cross-dressed as a drag queen in his latest catchy music video "Yo Perreo Sola".
The dance beat video showed the reggaetonero, who just turned 26, playing both as himself and a drag queen donning different looks. The new Spanish music video was dropped on Friday. "I twerk alone" is the translation of "Yo Perreo Sola". The track hailed from the album "YHLQMDLG."
In the upbeat, entertaining video, Bunny is seen wearing fashionable wardrobes. He transitioned from a queer in red tight fit latex outfit to a sexy busty vixen, then to a rapper (as himself) in a red and pink ensemble on top of a convertible. Upcoming new singer Nesi is featured in the song as she voices over Bunny's femme characters. At the end of the video, an empowering message alluding to sexual harassment is shown. "Si no quiere bailar contigo, respeta, ella perrea sola", which means "If she doesn't want to dance with you, respect her. She twerks alone."
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Bunny shared that he wrote the song from the perspective of a woman. He dedicated it to women who love to dance alone in the club safely.
