In 1999, they would return with "FanMail," their third studio album. It was their tribute and "thank you" to fans who sent them mail during their challenging times.

Ooooooohhh...on The TLC Tip
This is the girl group's debut album, first released in February 1992. Because of this, the trio would be called by Ken Tucker of Entertainment Weekly as a "perfect pop group for the times." For the tracks in this record, the ladies worked with frequent collaborators that included Babyface and Dupri. It rose to the third spot of BIllboard's Top R&B/ Hip-Hop Albums, No. 14 in the Billboard 200, and would also chart in Australian and Canadian Top Albums.
In terms of total album sales, "Ooooooohhh...on The TLC Tip" is the third among the group's releases. It follows "CrazySexyCool" first, and "FanMail" second. By 1996, it was already a certified quadruple platinum by RIAA. Seven years later, its total equivalent sales were around 2.5 million copies and six million in total by the end of 2011.
